Who is it for?

This course is for adults aged 19+ who don’t have maths GCSE at C/4 or above and would like to learn how to cook a low cost, nutritious meal.

What will I learn?

You will look at the prices and value for money of a variety of brands and types of ingredients. You will then use basic maths to weigh and measure your ingredients, and follow a recipe to cook a meal.

What could I do after this?

You could also continue building your numeracy skills and confidence by joining other courses offered by RALSS or other providers, such as budgeting, crafty maths or Functional Skills qualifications.
