Who is it for?
This course is for adults with very little or no knowledge of the Italian language and an interest in learning it.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to communicate in basic Italian whilst acquiring familiarity with the foundation of the language and some common expressions. Topics include:
- how to introduce yourself and others
- how to talk about your jobs, addresses, nationalities and ages
- how to ask for and provide basic information
- how to order food and drinks in cafes, bars or restaurants
- how to make reservations at restaurants, hotels and other accommodation
- how to ask questions and hold basic conversations
What could I do after this?
This course will equip you with the skills to communicate in Italian, which can be used in the community or when abroad.
If you want to continue learning the language, our Italian Year 1 course runs for one year. You could also progress onto further Italian courses with RACL or other local providers.
