Who it’s for:
For intermediate learners with existing knowledge of the language that would like to progress and start to engage in a wider range of topics.
What you’ll learn:
Your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills will be used and improved through individual, pair or group activities and authentic texts. Relevant vocabulary and grammar will be integrated, along with elements of Italian culture and traditions.
Topics will include health, symptoms and health advice, giving advice and persuading people, writing formal letters and emails, idiomatic expressions, the imperative tense and pronouns, and different uses of the future tense. Lessons may also incorporate listening exercises, conversations, games and activities to consolidate your existing knowledge.
Course outcomes:
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Discuss a variety of topics and express views and opinions.
- Handle a conversation with growing confidence
- Use the present, past, future, imperative and conditional tense in spoken and written language
- Use a wider range of words
- Improve your listening skills
