Who is it for?

This course is for anyone wanting to learn Spanish from scratch – whether that’s to help you communicate whilst on holiday or simply broaden your knowledge and build new skills.

What will I learn?

You will learn the Spanish alphabet, how to pronounce words in Spanish and how to introduce yourself in Spanish. You will also learn how to read some essential Spanish signs – such as those found in and around a city, at a bus stop or railway station – understand and recall useful phrases in the present tense, and use Spanish names of common food or meals to place orders in cafes and restaurants.

What could I do after this?

You could use your new skills to communicate with Spanish people or when in Spanish-speaking countries. You could also enrol onto further courses with RACL or other providers to continue increasing your knowledge.
