Subject: Children and Young People First Aid

Who is it for?
This course is for anyone working with or responsible for babies and young children.

Upon completing this course, you will be awarded a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid. The qualification is valid for three years and meets the requirements detailed in the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework.

What will I learn?
A range of topics are covered, including:

• Resuscitation and AED awareness
• Choking
• Bleeding control
• Burns
• Minor injuries
• Epilepsy

You will also learn about basic hygiene in first aid, assessing the situation, and responsibilities and reporting.
