Subject: First Aid

Who is it for?

This course is aimed at people with a general interest in how to administer First Aid in an emergency, or people in employment who need to be an Emergency First Aider within their workplace.

What will I learn?

Topics covered include:

• Responsibilities and reporting
• Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
• Basic hygiene in First Aid
• Burns
• Resuscitation
• Bleeding control
• Choking

Completing this course provides learners with a Level 3 accredited qualification, subject to passing on-going assessment throughout the day. This is compliant with Health and Safety legislation relating to the provision of First Aid in the work place.
