Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace aims to increase the learner’s knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and the principles of mental health first aid and how this can be implemented in the workplace. It will give learners the opportunity to understand mental health, its associated care and how this can be applied to learners or colleagues in the workplace.

Course content:

  • Exploring mental health
  • Understand how to support individuals with mental ill health
  • Understand a mentally healthy environment

Our online distance learning courses allow learners to boost their skills and enhance their CV with the flexibility of studying where and when they like. They take a maximum of 16 weeks to complete and, upon successful achievement, learners will gain a nationally-recognised Level 2 qualification.

This course is fully funded (free) for learners who meet eligibility criteria.
