What will I learn?
You will learn about and understand the ingredients that lift pictures from ‘the ordinary’, as well as assessing the opportunities and constraints offered by the subject matter and using them to improve your photography.

Learning will be via practical, hands-on use of your camera, as well as seeing and understanding simple explanations and examples.
Course outcomes:
You’ll learn how to improve your pictures by gaining a practical understanding of:
• Light & tonal range
• Composition
• Depth of field
• Viewpoint and narrative

You’ll also learn how to take pictures in a more confident and fluent way in a variety of situations, and avoid technical errors to achieve a higher success rate.
