Who is it for?
This fun introduction to paper quilling is for adults aged 19+ without GCSE Maths at C / 4 or above who’d like to learn how to make their own Easter-themed cards.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to:
- measure lengths of paper and cut with accuracy
- coil paper strips to make identical shapes and create repeating patterns
- manipulate coiled strips to make a variety of regular and irregular shapes.
- recognise symmetry and pattern in quilling designs
What could I do after this?
Multiply courses are designed to improve your confidence and ability to use maths in everyday life, at home or at work. You could use your new or improved skills in lots of ways – including when managing your money, supporting children with their learning, seeking employment opportunities or progressing your career.
You could continue developing your numeracy skills by progressing onto other maths courses, some of which may include accredited qualifications. You could also join a variety of Arts and Crafts courses to engage your imagination, meet new people and develop your artistic skills.
