Who is it for?
This one-day workshop is for anyone wanting to learn how to use wet and dry media to create art – from complete beginners to people with existing painting skills.
What will I learn?
You’ll explore using and applying a range of media, along with sketches or photos, to create a mixed-media painting.
You’ll learn how to:
- apply wet media – inks, acrylics or watercolour
- apply dry media – pencils, charcoals and chalks
- plan a painting or illustration based on sketches or photos
- create a painting, illustration or design
What could I do after this?
You could continue to develop your skills by joining additional watercolour or general painting and drawing classes with RALSS or other providers. You could also join a local art group, or build a portfolio with a view to taking an accredited art course.
