Who is it for?
The AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting is aimed at people who wish to gain the skills and knowledge needed to progress their career in accountancy or finance. It also provides a progression route for students who have achieved the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or Diploma in Accounting and Business.
What will I learn?
This qualification comprises of four mandatory units:
- Business Awareness
- Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements
- Management Accounting Techniques
- Tax Processes for Businesses
You will learn about how businesses and accountants comply with principles of professional ethics, the principles of advanced double-entry bookkeeping, producing financial statements for sole traders and partnerships, using spreadsheet techniques to provide management accounting information, reviewing and verifying VAT returns, the principles of payroll and more.
Fees and funding:
