Who it’s for:
This course is suitable for learners who have completed the previous Italian Improvers Plus term, or learners who have had a previous experience in learning Italian and/or are able to understand and produce a wide range of everyday expressions, have understanding of some grammar structures, such as regular and irregular verbs in present tense, conditional, past, imperfect and future, present subjunctive, prepositions, direct and indirect pronouns, possessive, reflexives and imperative.
What you’ll learn:
By the end of the course, you will be able to describe a product or object, talking about materials and characteristics; have received an introduction to past subjunctive and review of present subjunctive, tense consistency, some conjunctions and adverbs; be able to make a complaint, express doubt, worries, emotions and frame of mind; understand and analyse videos, audios or text about known or new topics; and engage in role-plays and other conversational activities over a variety of topics.
You will be able to use a range of topics and expressions whilst acquiring a deeper understanding of the structure of the language. Previous knowledge of some grammar will be reinforced and used as a springboard for new material. Speaking, listening, reading and writing will be further developed with emphasis on natural conversation skills.
