This qualification is ideal for those who wish to learn how to improve their personal health and well-being, by introducing them to the importance of health and well-being and how to improve in this area. It enables learners to gain knowledge and understanding of the postive effects of exercise on long-term health and well-being and implementing an exercise plan with the appropriate nutritional requirements.
Its objectives are to help learners gain an understanding of:
- the impact of diet, nutrition and exercise on their personal health
- safe and appropriate exercise
- the importance of personal motivation and setting goals and targets
