Who it’s for:
This course is suitable for anyone who already has reasonable mathematical abilities and would like to gain their GCSE Maths qualification.
All learners should already have a Level 2 or GCSE Grade ‘D’ Maths qualification, and will be tested for current skills before being accepted onto the course. If you do not have the required skills, we will recommend a more suitable (free) course, such as Functional Skills.
What you’ll learn:
You will learn about number, algebra, ratio, proportion and rates of change, geometry and measures, probability and statistics.
The course will cover AQA’s GCSE syllabus at grades 9 – 1 (old system A* – G). You will take the qualification at Foundation or Higher tier, depending on your abilities, and will be assessed by three formal exams at the end of the course.
