Who it’s for:
This short course is aimed at anyone interested in making their own glass earrings, pendants or brooches.
What you’ll learn:
In session one, you will learn how to cut, decorate and assemble glass to form ‘cabouchons’. These will then be fired in a kiln.
In session two, you will learn how to finish the cabouchons and fix these onto jewellery findings to produce earrings, pendants or brooches.
You will also learn how to work safely with a hazardous medium and appreciate when to use transparent, opaque and dichroic glass.
Please note that session one runs from 10am to 1pm, and session 2 runs from 10am to 11am.
