This online qualification is aimed at people who would work or would like to work in the health and social care sector, and wish to gain an understanding of end of life care.

What you’ll learn:

This course will help develop your knowledge and understanding of how to work in end of life care, the support needed to manage pain and discomfort, how dementia impacts on end of life care, the role of the care worker in time of death, and the loss and grief process.

You will study the following units:

  • Understand how to provide support to manage pain and discomfort
  • End of life care and dementia
  • Understanding the role of the care worker in time of death

About our distance learning qualification courses:

Our distance learning qualification courses are provided through our partnership with Stamford College and are fully funded (free) for learners who meet the eligibility criteria. They are studied online, with no exams involved, and take a maximum of 16 weeks to complete. Upon successful achievement, you will be awarded a Level 2 Certificate.
