Who is it for?

The Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is suitable for anyone working in roles that support pupils’ learning in primary, secondary or special schools, and colleges.

What will I learn?

You will gain an understanding of the knowledge and skills required when working directly with children or young people in school environments.

This qualification consists of 11 mandatory units, including safeguarding children and young people, maintaining relationships with children and young people, supporting positive behaviour in a learning environment for children and young people and promoting an effective learning environment.

As you are required to demonstrate competence in your skills and knowledge, you will need to be working in a school or college environment for the duration of this qualification.
