Duration: 12-15 months.

An Early Years Practitioner works as part of a professional team ensuring the welfare and care for children under the guidance and supervision of an Early Years Educator, teacher or other suitably qualified professional in the Early Years Workforce. Based in the workplace for a minimum of 30 hours per week, apprentices receive support and guidance from a College Assessor to help build a course portfolio and work towards the Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner. Apprentices will need to hold a level 1 qualification in Maths and English or achieve prior to completion of the apprenticeship.
